pokémon platinum was the first pokémon video game commercial I saw on television. I was just a kid when it happened. I always wanted to play it, but at the time there was nothing to play it with. Then I got my DS, but I couldn't get that game because I didn't know what it was called (I didn't know how to use the internet very well either). 

I never imagined that the fourth generation would be one of the most beloved of all the main series... Much less that pearl and diamond had the most traumatic pokémon league of them all. I was lucky that it was my first look at the whole game xD
